Ocean Rafting attended the 2024 Adventure Tourism Awards Night in Gold Coast on the 7th of November. Adventure Queensland, the peak backpacking and independent travel industry body for Queensland, hosted the return of the Awards. The gala event recognised outstanding tourism experiences, people, and places within the tourism industry in Australia and New Zealand.
Ocean Rafting was proud to be recognised as a finalist for the Eco-Tourism Award. This year, along with previous years, Ocean Rafting has not only been providing bucket list tours to guests but also playing a significant role in the environmental sector by participating in the Tourism Reef Protection Initiative and starting our very own initiative, “Tins 4 Fins,” to fund beach cleans and additional research, and doing anything and everything we can to ensure we protect this beautiful part of the world.
